Obituary for Peggy Baker MacAllister Peggy Baker MacAllister of Mount Olive, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the age of 73. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, J.P. MacAllister; daughter, Tyla (Loyd) DeFreese; son, Johnny (Debbie) MacAllister; grandchildren, Kimberly (Nicholas) Tumlin; Darian (Justin) Greer; great grandchildren, Ella and Brantley Tumlin, Mila Greer; brother, William B. (Becky) Baker; nieces and nephews, Amy, Katie, Jim and Brian; along with a host of friends and family. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William B. and Alice Baker.

Peggy was a kind and gentle soul who was lovingly called Mimi by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her community of Mount Olive and worked tirelessly for her community. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home.

Peggy’s favorite color was purple and everyone is encouraged to wear something purple. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Impact Evangelism, P O Box 1146, Gardendale, AL 35071.
