Ralph E. ton January 03, 1941 – December 17, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card FLORENCE – Ralph Edward ton, 77, died Monday, December 17, 2018, after an illness. He was born in Hollis, Oklahoma, a son of the late William Ralph and Dessie Holmes ton. Mr. ton was a carpenter and superintendent in the construction industry, as well as a truck driver.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Jeanette Cannon ton; and seven siblings. Survivors include four step-children, Robert Thompson of Little River, SC, Helen Hughes (Sidney) of Lumberton, NC, Rick Thompson and Marcia Thompson, both of Florence; two nephews, Tony Peoples of La Pine, OR, and Ricky Peoples of Porterville, CA; two sisters-in-law, Janet Cannon of Florence and Debbie Thomas Gulledge (Jerry) of Effingham; four step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018, in the chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, the Jayne Boswell Animal Shelter, or Lighthouse Ministries.
