Newbrough, 89, died Sunday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Burlington, VT, son of George and Lavera Newbrough and has lived in West Springfield since 1958. He was retired from United Technologies, where he worked for 38 years in Quality Control.

He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor and his son Bruce. He leaves his son Mark Newbrough of West Springfield, three daughters Elaine Davis of Virginia, Carol Vincent of West Springfield and Brenda Rudy of West Springfield, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. All services are private and at the convenience of the family.
