Richard Allen McCormick December 30, 1960 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card PAMPLICO – Richard Allen McCormick, 58, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 25, 2019. He was a licensed minister, a former firefighter and was currently employed by MaintenX, Inc He was an avid hunter and man of God.

He will be missed greatly, by many. He is survived by his very loving and devoted wife, Derri M. McCormick. He was also survived by his mother and father, Carolyn and Alvin McCormick; his sister and brother, Belinda Ann Jernigan and Michael Dean McCormick; and his children, Julia Leigh McCormick, Lukas Alexander McCormick, Bethany Nichol Hilton, Landon Allen McCormick, Braden Allen McCormick, Lori Lee Creel, and Christopher Michael Creel; and many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Wayne McCormick. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home in Florence. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pastor David Pale will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Road Ministries, 2022 Rosemary Avenue, Florence, SC 29505.
