Obituary for Richard L. Crimbly Richard Crimbly, 78, of Chambersburg, departed this life on Monday, April 16, 2018, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Gettysburg. He was born on June 19, 1939 in Greensburg, PA, the son of Benilda Lori and John Ciarimboli. Richard was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as a Financial Analyst for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 20 years, retiring in 2004.

He was a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and The University of Oklahoma. Richard was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church and its Knights of Columbus Council #12551, Shippensburg. He was a model train collector and enthusiast, enjoyed yard work and gardening, and also taking Sunday drives and going out to eat.

He is survived by his wife, Dolly (Miller) Crimbly, of Chambersburg; his son, Michael and wife Amber (Knoll) Crimbly of Lititz; his daughter, Karen Updegraff of Mechanicsburg, and his daughter Stephanie Hoke and husband Gary of Mechanicsburg; and five grandchildren Ryan, Tyler, Emily, Olivia, and Luke. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Sladinski) Crimbly; his grandparents, Carlo and Benedetta (Vespiazani) Lori; and his uncle, Robert Lori. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg.

Father Dwight Schlaline will officiate. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church c/o: Knights of Columbus Council #12551 at 305 North Prince Street Shippensburg, PA 17257.
