Rita Joyce Williams, 89 of Vincent, Ohio died on July 28, 2018 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philo, Ohio on March 12, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Paul Dean and Lorena Place Atkinson. She was a charter member of the Decatur Chapel Chuch where she was a member.

She loved her dog Molly, gardening, fishing and just being around her family. Survivors include her six children, Peggy Malone of Belpre, Raymond (Regina) Williams of Vincent, Harry (Tina) Williams Jr. of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, Joe (Debbie) Williams of Vincent, Chris (Jim) Mayo of Vincent, Jason (Melinda) Williams of Vincent, eighteen grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister Elsie Hunter, a sister Kathy Young, and a sister, Sharon Copeland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry Don Williams Sr., a daughter, Shirley Johnson, a brother, John Atkinson (Libby), sister, Rosemary Alvis (Bob), brother-in-laws, Bill Hunter and Bill Copeland, and a daughter-in-law, Kathi Williams and a great grandson, Tyler “Boo” Powell. Services will be on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Tim Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.
