Judith Ann Mahaney, 71 passed away July 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family following an illness. She was born August 18, 1946 to the late Thomas and Winifred Spindler Hinzman. Judy graduated in 1964 from Parkersburg High School and attended Ohio Valley College.

She married Donald L. Mahaney on March 6, 1965. Don and Judy owned and operated Emerson Barber Service for 50 years until their retirement in 2012. Judy was a faithful member of the Grand Central Church of Christ in Vienna.

She loved traveling, the beach, country music and spending time watching her grandsons sports. Judy is survived by her beloved husband Don; Her son Scott Mahaney (Jackie) of Williamstown; Her daughter Michelle Kellar (J.R.) of Cutler, OH. Her grandsons whom she loved very much, Logan, Landon, Liam and Peyten.

One brother, Charles Hinzman (Patty) of Little Hocking and brother-in-law, Ken Grosklos, of Marietta, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lewis and Virginia Mahaney as well as her sister, Betsy Grosklos. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Grand Central Church of Christ with Evangelist Joe Spivey officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Grand Central Church of Christ and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
