Edna Jean Dotson , 80, of Parkersburg passed away July 20, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Edna was born on October 8, 1937 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Carl T. and Edna Jane (Reese) Feick. She was a christian by faith and formerly a member of the First Church of Nazarene.

Edna was a homemaker and worked earlier in life as head bookkeeper at Commercial Bank. She loved animals, gardening, and playing the piano. She served as treasurer for the PTA and Pleasant Hill Homemakers.

Edna loved Victorian houses, antiques, and was instrumental in the start up of the local Victorian Society, which met at the Dils Center. Edna is survived by her daughter Cindy Reynolds Townsend (Mike) of Tallahasse, FL; son Michael “Tiny” Reynolds of Dallison, WV; three grandchildren Noah and Darcy Townsend and Carl Reynolds; and nephew Tom Armor (Diane). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Dotson; brother Cloyd Reese Feick; and sister Betty Feick Dennis.

The family would like to thank Debbie Henning, Marilyn Barker, the ministry students from Marietta Bible, and the team at Amydesis Hospice (especially her nurse Josh Kern) for their compassion and care. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at the First Church of Nazarene with Pastor Keith Hostutler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.

Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
