Obituary for Robert C. O’Neill CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Robert C. O’Neill, age 89, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Rawlins House Health & Living Community in Pendleton, Indiana. Born November 7, 1928, in Richmond, Indiana, to Thomas A. and Ruby J. Converse O’Neill, Robert was a life-long resident of Wayne County.

He was a 1947 graduate of Centerville High School. Robert served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Hoffco/Comet Industries for 24 years before retiring in 1994 and had formerly worked at Wayne Works.

Robert was a member of the Centerville Christian Church, American Legion Hunt-Trouse Post #287, Centerville Lions Club, Centerville-Abington Senior Center, and Crown Hill Cemetery Board. Survivors include his sons, Kevin D. (Mary Zimmerman) O’Neill of Morton, Illinois, and Brian K. (Linda) O’Neill of Pendleton; grandchildren, Sara, Tina, Madison, Katie, and Kelly; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Audrey F. Schroy O’Neill, who died May 22, 2006, and parents.

Visitation for Robert C. O’Neill will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Parrish officiating.
