Obituary for Robert G. Stelmack Robert G. Stelmack, 74, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born in Erie on September 4, 1944 a son of Emily Ziemba Stelmack and the late Michael Stelmack. Robert graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1962 and proudly served in the United States Army in Germany with the 3rd Infantry.
He worked at GE for 38 years before retirement and was active in many local veterans organizations. He was a board member for the McClelland Park, an admin for a prepping and survivalist group, and a member of the VFW. He was an amateur woods guide and enjoyed collecting guns and cooking.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one son in infancy, Jeffrey Stelmack and one brother, Fred Stelmack. In addition to his mother survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Fuller and her husband, Bradley, of Pittsburgh; one son, Dr. Joshua Stelmack and his wife, Amanda, of Corry; five grandchildren, Annabelle, Austin, Madeline, Grant, and Samantha; four sisters, Chris Holland and her husband, Timothy, of Perkasie, PA, Ka-ren Lipchik and her husband, David, of Erie, Mary Jares and her husband, Mark, of Erie, and Darlene Stelmack of Erie; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd.
