Robert Rumsey Robert I. Rumsey, 88, of West Burlington, died at 3:15 pm Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Burlington Care Center. Born May 18, 1930, he was the son of Ira and Ida Mary Rumsey. On June 7, 1966, he married Joy Janell in Reno, NV.

Robert worked as a forklift driver at Campbell’s Soup for 23 years. He was a U.S. Army and Navy Veteran, serving for over 20 years in the Army. Robert enjoyed collecting coins and he loved spending time with his daughters.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa (Pat) McCoy, Leona (Rick) Carr of Sacramento, CA, Mellissa Lund of Bend, OR, one sister, Butch Harland of Sacramento, CA, 10 grandchildren and five great-grand children. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, two sisters, and one brother. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.

There will be no visitation or services.
