Ruth Ann Larson,74, of Burlington, passed at 3:33 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018, surrounded by family. Born August 31, 1944, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Glen and Eileen Peterson Polson. She married Leonard Johnson, and they later divorced.

On December 16, 1989, she married John Larson in Burlington. Ruth worked as a floral designer for many years. Ruth loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She also enjoyed cooking, solving puzzle books, and crocheting hats and blankets, which she donated to newborns. Survivors include her husband, John Larson; one daughter, Lisa McGinity of Burlington; one son, Larry (Janet) Johnson of Chisago City, MN; four grandchildren: Sky, Paige, Seth and Cole; one great-grandchild: Piper. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Polson, and one great grandson, Bryce.

Visitation will be from noon until 5:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established for the Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah.
