Robert Lee “Bob” Wallace, Sr., 83, of 425 Neal Davis Road, Ringgold, Va. , died Friday, June 15, 2018, at SOVAH, Danville. He was born on September 22, 1934, in Person County to the late Myrtle Tucker Wallace and the late Hubert Wallace, Sr

He was married to Judith Reese Wallace, who predeceased him on July 11, 2017. Robert worked in the maintenance department of Goodyear for over 22 years, after having proudly served in the U.S. Army attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of Ephesus… Read More » Baptist Church, Semora, NC.

Robert is survived by three sons, Robert Lee Wallace, Jr. and wife Angela of Roxboro, NC, Kelly Wallace and fiancé Tina of Alton, Va. , and Darrell Aherron and wife Melissa of Kentuck, Va. , two sisters, Mary Alice Turner of Burlington, NC and Mamie Snow of South Carolina, as well as three brothers, Lawrence Wallace of Burlington, NC, Fleetwood Wallace of Semora, NC, and Hubert Wallace, Jr. of Roxboro, NC.

Survivors also include seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Robert is predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Wallace, a sister Cheryl Fritz, and two brothers, James and Prince Wallace. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Norris Funeral Services, Mt.

Hermon Chapel, with the Rev. David Bunch officiating. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, 1901 Ephesus Church Road, Semora, NC 27343.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 1 – 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence, 425 Neal Davis Rd.
