Robert W. Voigt, Sr., 81, of Southport, N.C. passed away on June 4, 2018, in Wilmington, N.C. He was born March 29, 1937, in Bethesda, Maryland, to the late Beulah Booth Voigt and the late Robert H. Voigt. He was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Testerman Voigt.

He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. with 30 years of service. Mr. Voigt was a member of The Bridge Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Angela V. Simpkins (Thor) of Danville, Va.
