Earl W. Kraft, age 74 of Danville, VA passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Sovah Health Danville. He was born October 12, 1943 in Jackson, MI to the late Paul D. Kraft and Dorothy J. Crego Kraft. Earl was a member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church.

He was married to Diana C. Kraft of the residence. Earl retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 32 years. Earl proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam era.

City, TN, Debra and Robin Hutchinson both of Danville, VA; four sons, Paul S. Kraft (Heidi) of Oyo, AZ, Carl Kraft of Chatham, VA, Steven Hutchinson of Jackson, MI and Ronald Hutchinson of NC; two sisters, Paula J. Kraft and Elizabeth Kraft; a brother, David Malosh and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his step-mother Frances I. Schutte Kraft; a son, David Kraft and a great-granddaughter, Cate Carter.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Forest Lawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Forest Lawn Baptist Church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Danville YMCA, 215 Riverside Dr., Danville, VA 24540 or Forest Lawn Baptist Church building fund, 1816 W. Main St., Danville, VA 24541. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave. Danville is serving the Kraft family.
