He was born on December 29, 1948 in Patrick County to the late Priscillia Marks Anthony and Penn Alvin Anthony SR. He was a member of Critz Baptist Church in Critz, VA and was a loving father and grandfather.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Alan Vass officiating. Burial will be in Critz Baptist Church cemetery.

A visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Norris Funeral Services in Stuart, VA. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Stuart, VA is serving the Anthony family.
