Jurelda Richardson Craig, 88, formerly of 2192 Ringgold Road, Ringgold, Va. passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Roman Eagle Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was born November 13, 1929, in Pittsylvania County, Va.

to the late Katie Shelton Richardson and the late John Henry Richardson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Edward “Ed” Craig. Mrs. Craig worked for Dan River, Inc. in the spinning room and retired with over 40 years of service.

Strader and husband, Phil of Pelham, N.C.; her daughter-in-law, Donna Craig of Ringgold; her grandchildren, Craig Henderson (Carol), Scott Craig (Leah), Kevin Henderson, Tamara Boyd (Chris), and Brandon Strader; her step grandchildren, Vonda Kelly (David) and Phillip Strader (Denielle); her great-grandchildren, Peyton and Ainsley Henderson, Cameron Henderson, Auston and Amelia Boyd, and Emma and Mason Craig; as well as her step great-grandchildren, Colton and Case Strader, and Petra Kelly.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Craig was predeceased by her daughters, Sharon Lee Craig and Susan Joy Craig; her son, Richard “Kenny” Craig, and her sister, Nancy Powell. The family would like to thank the staff of Roman Eagle Rehab and Healthcare Center and North Garden Terrace for the love and attention showed to Mrs. Craig. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, with Rev.
