Cynthia Gatewood White, age 81, formerly of 3961 Sugarhill Rd. , Brookneal, Va. passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 while a resident of Sentara Woodview Nursing Home, South Boston, Va.

Born March 11, 1937 Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Ota Hunter Gatewood and Edwin Gatewood. She was married to the late Richard C. White, who predeceased her on November 4, 2016. Cynthia was raised in Mt.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. White was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer White and her son, Daniel White. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. White will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave, Danville, Va.
