Ruth Hale Rust, age 94 of Danville, VA passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Riverside Health Care in Danville, VA. She was born April 17, 1924 in Draper, NC to the late James Hale and the late Rebecca Ferrell Hale. Ruth was married to the late Crawley Rust.

She was of the Holiness Faith. She worked for Dan River Mills for 42 years. Ruth loved all of her family.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Parrish; four sisters, Dorothy Sheppard, Annie Bibee, Lily Primiano and Teresa Crumpton and a brother, Willard Hale. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville,, VA with the Rev.

J.B Baldridge officiating. The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. till 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Inc., West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave. , Danville, VA 24541.
