Charlie Wade Amos, 72, of Bassett, VA passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at his home. He was born September 22, 1945 in Henry County, VA to the late Paul Posal Amos and Ada Rigney Amos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Amos.

Mr. Amos is survived by his life-long love, Fannie Amos of Bassett; step-daughters, Lisa J. Spencer (Mark) of Bassett and Kimberly Pendleton (Eddie) of Bassett; step-son, Shannon Francisco (Nicole) of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters,… Read More » Nancy Bray (Ernest) of Axton and Shelby Waller of Bassett; brothers, Alfred Amos (Betty), Douglas Amos (Shirley), and Donald Amos (Carol) all of Bassett. Also surviving are step-grandchildren, Logan Pendleton, Ethan Pendleton, Devin Pendleton, Travis Francisco, Trenton Francisco, and Trevor Francisco; step-great-grandchildren, Camden Santillo and Braxton Santillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Community Fellowship Church, P.O. Box 388, Collinsville, VA 24078. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Martinsville, VA is serving the Amos family.
