Mary Morton Young, 81, of Martinsville, VA passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born September 18, 1936 to the late Steve Albert Copeland and Ocie Lee Coleman Copeland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dalton Young; sisters, Imalda Crum, Betty Jean Spencer, Lula Howell, and Dorothy Moore; and brothers, Albert Copeland, Jr. and Wayne Copeland.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Young of the home and Angelia Arden of Martinsville, VA. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Minister Lee Ashley officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Martinsville, VA is serving the Young family.
