Clifford M. Fuqua, Jr., 72, of 348 Ridgecrest Dr., Danville, Va. , passed away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born January 5, 1946, in Danville to the late Cora Bradford Fuqua Cocke and the late Clifford M. Fuqua, Sr

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Adell Swift Fuqua. Mr. Fuqua proudly served his country with the US Army in Vietnam. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with 35 years of service.

Mr. Fuqua loved… Read More » his family as well as yard work and gardening. He also enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, auctions and car shows. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fuqua is survived by his daughter, Christy Oakes and husband, Stephen of Danville; his son, Clifford Fuqua, III and wife, Mandy of Forest, Va.

; his grandchildren, Caleb and Lily Oakes, and Dawson and Mason Fuqua; as well as his special friends, Judy & Troy Dalton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel with Rev.

Freddy Vicks officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the funeral home prior to the service, and at other times at the residence.
