Joseph Franklin Bebbs, Jr., age 71, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, after a lengthy illness in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He was born December 3, 1946, in Richmond VA, to the late Joseph Franklin Bebbs, Sr. and the late Eloise Bebbs. He was a graduate of Franklin Marshall University and former varsity tennis player.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Debra of Danville, Virginia; sister, Alicia Higgs (Charles) of Richmond, Virginia; step-son Jimmie Hoard (Tina) of Danville, Virginia; as well as special friends, Ruffin Bell and Dr. Henry Rhone of Richmond, Virginia. Joseph also enjoyed golfing with his buddies, Walt, Karen, Tom and Jerry of New Mexico. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 21, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Norris Mt.

Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Tpke. , Danville, Va. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Norris Mt.

Hermon Chapel, with Rev. Ralph Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville.
