Mr. Nathan Wayne Johnson, 78, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Greensboro, N.C. Select Specialty Hospital. He was born in August 27, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Kelly & Geneva Johnson. He retired from Thompson-Arthur/Ashland Oil Paving Company as a truck driver and foreman.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Dry Fork, VA with Kevin Johnson and Rev. Cecil Coates officiating. Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church’s Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dry Fork Volunteer Fire Dept. 4860 Dry Fork Rd.
