Robert Dyer Conklin, 83, of Ridgeway, VA passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born June 8, 1935 in Havaco, WV to the late, Robert Glen Conklin and Maude Mae Waller Conklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Mr. Conklin served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Aline Conklin of the home; children, Debbie Wyatt (Jim) of Martinsville, VA, Pamela Steele (Dean) of Bassett, VA, Donald… Read More » Conklin (Patricia Ezzyk) of Ridgeway, VA, Christine Crews (Junior) of Martinsville, VA, David Conklin of Martinsville, VA, and Linda Patterson (Johnny) of Martinsville, VA; sister, Gaynell Williams of Martinsville, VA; and brother, Ricky Conklin (Faye) of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory in Martinsville, Virginia is serving the Conklin family.
