Obituary of Robert Hauptman Robert J. “Bob” Hauptman, age 73, of Corning, NY passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Corning, NY. Bob was born September 21, 1944 in Corning, NY, the son of the late Rudolph and the late Doris (Otte) Hauptman. Bob will be remembered for his love of Nascar and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by children: Erich (Beth) Hauptman of Corning, NY, Marisa (Rick) Elston of Concord, NC; grandchildren: Erika, Hannah, Dominic, Collin and Camryn. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his brother, Rudy and sister, Ruth. It was Bob’s wish that there be no services.

Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements. Donations in Bob’s memory may be sent to an SPCA of your choice.
