Obituary for Ronald G. Freestone Ronald Grant Freestone, longtime resident of Roseville, died peacefully on November 15, 2018. He was 78 years of age. Ronald was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 29, 1940, son of the late Patrick and Marie (Kanmer) Norris.

Ronald worked as a Lathe Operator for Warren Excursion for over 30 dedicated years. He always kept himself busy. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing softball.

He also enjoyed bowling and a good game of golf and was known for his strong, long drive, and in fact, has gotten a few hole in ones. His greatest joy was being out on the water; boating and fishing. Ron loved hanging out with his friends at Colony Marine.

He was known for his delicious fresh perch that everyone always looked forward to. To know Ron was to love him. Ron on was a loving father, fun grandfather and cherished friend, who touched an innumerable number of hearts and lives, and the compassion and friendship that he extended to others was a blessing to all who knew him.

He remains steadfast in our hearts and minds and will forever be loved and missed. Ron is the loving father of Bradley (Rosa) Freestone and Dawn (Don) Smith; cherished grandfather of Taylor, Paige, Grant and Alahna; and dear brother of Sally (Fred) Beall. Visitation will be held at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Monday from 2pm – 8pm and Tuesday 10am until the time of funeral at 11am.
