Rosemarie’s Obituary Rosemarie, age 88, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at her home in Mechanicsburg. Born October 8, 1930 in Johnstown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mikula) Maguth and was also preceded in death by her brother John. Rose was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Rose was devoted to God and her family and will be dearly missed by all. For many years, Rose served as a Deputy Registrar for the PA Department of Health. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg and the Penn Cumberland Garden Club and was Past President of Zembo Shrine R-V-Ettes.

Rose was a talented artist, for many years her medium was oil painting but then changed to water colors. She was an avid gardener, collecting the flowers she grew and then pressing them to make cards, pictures and ornaments to send to her friends and family. Surviving are her husband, Willis R. Kocher, a daughter, Linda A. Fritz and husband James of Felton, a son Sean A. Kocher of Irwin; four grandchildren, Michelle Harwood, Nathan, Lindsey and Teagan Kocher and a great granddaughter Morgan Harwood.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at St. Joseph Church, 400 East Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg. There will be a viewing from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg and at the church from 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
