Una’s Obituary Una Dell Sprigg, 72 of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born July 2, 1946 in Nassau, Bahamas she was a daughter of the late George and Edna (Evans) Sands. Una departed the Bahamas in 1980 and received her permanent residency from the US Embassy prior to her arrival in Baltimore, Maryland.

She retired from High Hotels and was nominated for Housekeeper of the Year with Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites both in Mechanicsburg. Una was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mechanicsburg and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and the casinos. Una is survived by her loving husband George O. Sprigg, Jr.; a son Mark V. Sprigg of Steelton; a daughter Monique L. Sprigg of Miami Beach, FL; a sister Vernita Rolle of the Bahamas as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will take place at the convenience of the family in the Bahamas .
