Our loving mother Roxie Christensen Geisler went home to our Heavenly Father on Friday November 2, 2018 at the age of 91 in Brigham City, Utah. Mom became the 3rd child of Adele Filmore and Romeo Walter Christensen on August 31, 1927. She has two brothers and one sister.

She grew up in West Corinne, Utah. Graduated from Box Elder High School in 1945. Roxie married Lawrence Geisler on December 14, 1946 and they were later sealed in the Logan Temple.

They have five children, Allyson, Larry, Sherry Lyn, Roxie Ann and Natalie Ora. She has 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. Mom was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 7th Ward, proudly serving in many callings.

Mom was a member of the JC’s and other organizations. She also had a Pinochle Club and loved playing the game with her friends. Mom loved going to Wendover with the Senior Citizens, and the many family trips.

Her most memorable trip was to Hawaii with dad and friends. She worked many places and retired from the Box Elder County Assessor’s office. The job she loved the most was being our mom.

She will be missed greatly by her children: Allyson (Steve) Welling; Larry (Marsha) Geisler; Sherry Huddleston; Roxie Ann Beard and Natalie (Dale) Walker; and her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brother Roy (Lula) Christensen; sister, Jean (Bill) Davis; brother, Neil (Francis) Christensen; her parents-in-law, Frank and Ora Geisler; brother-in-law, Marcel (Ruth) Geisler and great-granddaughter, Hannah Lyn Huddleston along with many other family and friends. What a reunion mom is having.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel 205 South 100 East Brigham City, UT; viewings will be held Wednesday November 7, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 12:00 -12:45 p.m. at Myers Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
