Richard W. Britton 74 passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. He was born on August 12, 1944 in San Leandro, California the son of June Capener and Merle Britton. Richard had expectations of accomplishing many more things in his life, like building a wood shop in Washington.

This would be used to work with rare types of wood he collected over the years. He wanted to improve his property in Washington and planned to harvest some of the mature trees on the property for woodworking projects. Richard was proud of his military service in Vietnam.

He was an accomplished trap shooting marksman. Richard was very precise in everything he undertook. He liked to work with rocks and gem stones, and make many pieces of beautiful jewelry: turquoise, silver and frequented local art fairs.

He always could be heard telling the younger relatives to maximize their Roth IRA! Surviving are many cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Merle and June Britton.
