Shelly Lee Mortensen January 12, 1967 – December 19, 2018 Shelly Lee Mortensen, 51, passed away December 19, 2018. She was born to Robert Lee Mortensen and Jean Turner Buyers on January 12, 1967 in Logan, Utah. She lived in Roy, Utah.

Shelly graduated from Skyview High School in Logan. Michael Todd Linger was the love of her life. She worked for USANA Health Services for 15 years as an inventory control clerk.

Shelly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved horses and animals. She grew up showing horses, barrel racing and competing in 4-H.

She loved camping and being outdoors with her family. She enjoyed gardening and woodworking with her daughter. Shelly would give the shirt off her back to any one in need.

She is survived by her daughter KayLee Ann McColloch, sons; Michael Lee Mortensen, Everett Leja McColloch, her mother Jean (Turner) Buyers, step mother Marge Mortensen, brother Daniel Lee Mortensen, her aunt Trudi Shields and 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her love of her life, Michael Todd Linger and her father, Robert Lee Mortensen. There will be a memorial gathering held Friday, December 28, 2018 at Myers Mortuary 5865 S 1900 W, Roy, Utah, 12:00 – 1:30 PM.
