Delores L Kunzler, 84 passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at her home in West Haven Utah, surrounded by her five children. Delores was born on March 17, 1934 in St George Utah daughter of John Ray Levanger and Mary Vanda Hopkins. She grew up in Homedale, Idaho and graduated from Homedale High School in 1953.

She was on the women’s basketball team, where her love of game started. She continued her education at Brigham Young University, graduating with her degree in elementary education. She married Theodore William Olsen Jr. on March 26, 1959, they were married for 19 years.

She then then went on to marry and was sealed to Ernest W. Kunzler on May 29, 1980, in the Ogden Utah Temple, they were married for 21 years. Delores was a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking for her family.

She loved teaching children and taught in different schools from Oregon to Idaho, to Utah for over 40 years. She was an avid Utah Jazz fan, collecting all memorabilia and never missed a game. She was a faithful member of the Wilson 2nd ward in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She’s held various callings throughout her life. She loved serving the Lord and brought so much joy and happiness to others, giving a beautiful gift of love toward others. Surviving are her children: Kevin (Marsha) Olsen of Las Vegas NV, Michelle (Kent) Haslam, of Draper UT, Kerry (Amy) Olsen of Sandy UT, Kurtis Kunzler of West Haven UT, and Marlissa (Bob) Bokinskie of West Haven UT.

She is also survived by her brother Clark (Alice) Levanger. She had 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren whom she loved so much. Preceded in death by her spouse, Ernest Kunzler and her Mother and Father John Ray and Mary Vanda Levanger.

We would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Utah. With gratitude to Emily, Tammy, Kathy and Brooke for the love and support during this time. Viewings will be Friday December 28, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. following will be the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, Utah.

Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
