Kathleen Stahler Kathleen Stahler, born January 18, 1949, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 27, 2018 after a long, valiant medical battle just 22 days short of her 70th birthday! Kathy was the daughter of Lewis and Roberta Storey of North Ogden. She lived most of her life in the North Ogden area where she was loved by so many.

Kathy had one of the most kind and generous hearts of anyone you could ever meet. She had the ability to make everyone feel important and special. She was an avid sports fan, she loved her Minnesota Vikings, Boston Red Sox and the Utes.

She was a government worker most of her adult life and retired in 2004 from Hill Air Force Base. She was an incredible mom and an awesome grandma and great grandma, she loved her family so much! Before Kathy got sick, she loved working in her flowerbeds, she had the most beautiful yard filled with many different varieties of flowers.

Kathy married Thom Geilmann in November 1969, they had two children together but were later divorced. Kathy then married Jim Stahler in November 1979, they were married until his death in 2008. Kathy is preceded in death by her husband James Stahler and her parents Lewis Storey and Roberta Nicholas Storey.

Surviving are her children Melissa Geilmann of Pocatello Idaho and Nolan (Evelyn) Geilmann of North Ogden, Utah; her two stepchildren Brandi (Brian) Rollins of Santa Margarita California and Ryan (Scarlett) Stahler of Spokane Washington; her grandchildren Ashley (Jason), Colt, Ashley (Aaron), Shelby (Drew), Ian, Emerson, Ethan, Ezra and two great grandsons Bronco and Zane. Also surviving are Kathy’s two brothers Mike (Kathy) Storey, Ron (Barbara) Storey and sister Barbara (Dave) Parkinson, all of North Ogden. Family and friends were everything to Kathy!

The world will be a little less bright because she is gone, her smile had the ability to light up any room she entered! Even though she will be greatly missed we know she would want us to continue to be happy and celebrate her life and goodness as we are so thankful, she is finally at peace. A Celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Friday, January 4, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
