Obituary for Amy Lynne Connelly Amy Lynn Connelly, 52, passed away December 20, 2018 in Salt Lake City, UT at The University of Utah Hospital following a hard-fought battle with complications from a double lung transplant. She was born August 15, 1966 in Provo, UT to Jose and Ruby Valdez. She married David Louis Connelly on December 24, 1986 in Ogden, UT.

She grew up in American Fork, UT where she received her elementary education and graduated from American Fork High School where she was the All State Tennis Champ. She went on to attend Utah Valley University and received an associate’s degree. Amy worked in Nursing for many years with Doctors in Salt Lake City and Evanston, WY.

She owned her own Business Marketing Company and worked with business all around the United States from the East Coast to Salt Lake City. She was very creative in her marketing skills and broke many records in sales. She loved spending time out in the sun and going on walks, especially walking her dogs along the river walk.

She loved to fish and always seemed to out fish everyone. She enjoyed spending time on the water in the family boat and spending time at Powder Mountain skiing. She loved her Grandchildren and her dogs and loved to spoil them.

She is survived by her Husband: David, Children: Casey David Connelly (Ashley), Mackenzie Ausillia Connelly Gaines (Dustin), Devon Joseph Connelly; Mother: Ruby Valdez; Step Children: Christopher Connelly (Sharon), Matthew Connelly (Mariel), Nathan Connelly (Michelle), Stacy Connelly Fosvick (John), Aaron Connelly (Mandi), Jillynn Connelly Cordner (Ian); 28 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Jody Valdez Gonzales (Bernie), Ruby Jo Valdez Kimble (JC), Jose Valdez (ShaLay) and Victor Valdez (Jamie), her constant companions Baxter and Shiro. She was preceded in death by her Father, Sister: Debra Marie Valdez, Grandma Cele and Niece: Ashley. The family would like to express appreciation to the University of Utah Lung Transplant Team, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit for the loving care given to Amy.

The constant support from the Powder Mountain family. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Provident Funeral Home, 3800 South Washington Blvd. , Ogden, UT.
