In late summer of 2000, Scott returned home to attain a BS in Biology from UMASS Amherst. He worked in Easthampton, MA as the Assistant Director of Emergency Management from 2008 – 2011.

Since September of 2005, Scott served the Town of Amherst, MA as Emergency Dispatcher. Scott met his wife Nicole in January of 2002. From that moment, they were inseparable, enjoying concerts, family dinners, gardening and spending time with friends.
