Scott’s Obituary A memorial service for Scott Crawford will be held in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home on February 2, 2019 at 2:00p.m. Pastor Allan Pittman will be officiating the service. Scott “Scrappy” Crawford was born on August 19, 1970 in Shelbyville, Indiana to his parents, Taylor Crawford and Margaret Clements. Mr. Crawford passed away on January 19, 2019 in Marshall, Texas.

In 2012 Mr. Crawford married the love of his life, Kelli Crawford. Mr. Crawford served four years in the U.S. Navy. He loved his old cars, motorcycles and watching monster trucks.

Going to estate sales with his wife and Justin was one of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed doing handy man jobs for Megan and Heather. Mr. Crawford loved watching his favorite shows, three stooges, old western movies with his dad, and Nascar.

If you knew Mr. Crawford you knew he was an amazing cook and liked doing it. Mr. Crawford also enjoyed fishing with his neighbor, Thomas. Mr. Crawford loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Kelli; two step-children whom he loved dearly, Justin and Megan Butler; daughter, Cassidy Crawford; son, Chandler Crawford; favorite aunts, Oakie Crawford and Patty Poe; favorite cousin, James “Bubby” Crawford; mother-in-law, Joy Poe; sisters-in-law, Karolyn Bryce and husband, Pokey, Kristi Elam and husband, Brad and Kerry Theus. Also left to cherish Mr. Crawford’s memories are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special dogs, Millie and Khloe. Mr. Crawford is preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Margaret Crawford.

In lieu of flowers the family of Scott Crawford would like any donations be made to American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors Project.
