Obituary for Sharon Alwilda O’Leary Sharon Alwilda O’Leary, 60, died Friday, January 25, 2019. Her services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Immanual Baptist Church in Perkins, OK. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Sherry (Sharon) was born on February 22, 1958 to Thomas T. Evans and Sharon N. Montgomery in Chandler, OK. She graduated from Perkins-Tryon high school in 1976, and went on to graduate from Central Vo-Tech in Drumright, OK with a nursing degree. Sherry worked as an LPN at the Stillwater Medical Center in the nursery for 14 years.

She absolutely loved working with new born babies. She married Richard Chandler in December of 1985. Together they had two children; Mitchell Thomas and Stormilee Brooke.

They later divorced. She married her hero, James Michael O’Leary in March, 2009. Sherry was preceded in death by her Grandparents and her Mother.

She is survived by her father Tom; husband, Mike; one son, Mitchell Chandler; daughters, Stormi Van Ness, and Missy O’Leary; grandchildren, Jett Patrick Benjamin, Darcy Arlene, Donovan, Adarian, Layla, Dayton, and Little Joe; brothers, Donnie, Dennis and Wade; sisters Leslie, T.J., Beverly, Robin, and Lorna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Strode Funeral Home, 610 S. Duncan St. Stillwater, OK. 74074 for the family to contribute to various charities.
