Shirley Gawron, 82, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, June 18, 2018. Shirley was born November 24, 1935 in La Porte, Indiana to Walter and Isabel (Holowinski) Gawron. Shirley was a La Porte High School graduate.

She worked as a legal secretary at Drayton, Biege, Sirugo & Elliott, LLP in LaPorte. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a former Business and Professional Woman Association member in La Porte, and the Polish Falcons Nest 564, where she bowled. Shirley also had two best “Furry Friends”, her dogs, Buster and Murphy.

Shirley is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Muller and Patricia Layton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Gawron. Private burial has taken place.
