Obituary for Susan Bentley Susan Bentley was born in Southend-on-Sea, Es England in the year of October 10, 1955 and went to our Lord on September 21, 2018. Susan’s mom, a young English girl, met Sue’s dad while he was stationed at Mildenhall AFB. They fell in love and married and later moved to Vacaville, CA, after his tour was up.

Susan graduated from Vacaville High School in 1974 and worked at the Nut Tree restaurant in Vacaville, then later as a RV Electrician, Document Tech, Modular Home Electrican and Surgical Tech, retiring as a Supply/Buyer at Sutter Surgical Hospital. Sue enjoyed many outdoor activities, skiing, kayaking, jet skiing and fishing. Sue also enjoyed working on home projects and landscaping.

One of her favorite hobbies was sewing, quilting and embroidery, making several beautiful quilts for friends and family. Everyone that knew her will miss Sue. She is survived by her sister Leslie Withers, niece Jenifer Pena/Fred Pena, nephew Joe Withers/Bobbie Sue Withers, great nieces Maddie Pena, Maverick Withers and her forever friends Cindy Myers, Laura Lopez and Todd Hamilton.

She is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Joy Trapp, brother John Trapp and her parents by years of association and love, Cliff and Louise Myers. The family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. We would also like to thank the Rideout Cancer Center, Sutter Hospice, Cozy Care and Imelda Davila for their exceptional care of our dear sister.

Viewing will be September 29, 2018 at 10:00 am, a memorial service at 11:00 am, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. A gathering will follow. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Susan Bentley please visit our Sympathy Store.
