Graham – Suzanne “Susie” Faith Carden Moon, 62, went home to heaven after a hard seven month battle with cancer on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Hospice Home, she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 30, 1956 in Alamance County to William “Bill” Linwood Carden, Sr. and Anne Foster Carden and was the wife of 37 years to Kevin Moon. Susie was currently employed with Salon Centric and formerly was the manager with Sally’s Beauty Supply.

Susie was a loving and caring person who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors other than her husband, Kevin and parents, Bill and Anne Carden include her sons, Chad Pickard and Chris Moon; grandchildren, Charlie, Emma and Kahlanni; a brother, William “Billy” Carden, Jr. and wife, Patty; a sister, Beckye Carden; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Mills and husband, Terry, Linda Redding and Janice Findley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Carden Thompson; maternal grandparents, Hazel “Speedy” and Bertella Burch Foster; paternal grandparents, Dexter and Myrtle Dodson Carden; and her mother-in-law, Jean Stanley Moon. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bob Stephenson and Rev.

Curtis Oakley with the burial to follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her parents’ home in Haw River. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
