Thomas Jefferson Wagner, 86, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born March 26, 1932 to the late Newton K. and Lula Mae Wagner. Mr. Wagner was a millwright by trade and was a member of the TriState Carpenter and Millwright Local Union.

He was a member of Delmar Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with burial following in Walker Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Barbara Wagner; children, Thomas Eugene Wagner, Richard Wagner, Mikel Wagner and wife, Sandra, Terry Wagner, and Keith Wagner; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joy Wagner; brothers, Mason, Robert, John Paul, Newton, Jasper, and Silas; and sisters, Pauline Houston and Lula Mae Hughes. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Thomas Jefferson Wagner please visit our Sympathy Store.
