Thomas L. Ference, 75 years old, passed away on Monday morning, September 3, 2018 at his home. Tom was born on October 29, 1942 in South Bend to the late Peter Joseph and Vera Caroline (Calvert) Ference. Tom has been a lifelong resident.

He worked for Conrail as a lineman for over 35 years and proudly served his country with the United States Army. Tom is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Anne Nisley of Mishawaka; and two granddaughters, Brianna and Megan Case. There will be no services or visitation.

Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Thomas L. Ference may be donated to the Cat Care Clinic, 3024 N. Hickory Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.
