Obituary for Thomas Larry Shows, Sr. Thomas Larry Shows, Sr. born August 5, 1939, died Monday, May 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by Pamela Ann Shows (infant daughter), William Orian Shows (father), Mitchel Ree Shows Trippe (mother), David Michael Shows (brother), and Emma Jean Windham (sister). Survivors include his precious wife of 58 years, Nancy Ann Moreland Shows; son, Thomas Larry Shows, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Carriere, MS; daughter, Tina Shows Livingston (Stan) of Ellisville, MS; daughter, Gwen Maggard (Roger) of Saucier, MS; and brother, William Derek Shows (Priscilla) of Pittsboro, NC.

Grandchildren are Britanie Livingston Yates (William), Joseph Keghan Livingston (Jessmar), Paul Grayson Livingston, Caitlyn Elizabeth Shows, James Colton Shows, Donna Lynn Ladner, and Dustan Ray Ladner. Great grandchildren are Thomas Corbyn Yates, Olivia Rose Yates, Brystle Rayne Livingston, Zachary Owen Ladner, Joshua Evan Ladner, Desiree Rene Ladner, Hollie Rae Ladner, Hannah Grace Ladner, and Juliana Grace Ladner. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and greats.

He was a member of Soso First Baptist Church and a devoted Christian who touched many lives as a bi-vocational Music Minister for many churches in the area. He was also a founding member of the Travelaires Quartet for over 60 years with dearest lifetime friends Milfred Valentine, Bill Collins, Howell Hathorne and Bill Clark. He was a key founder of the Soso Volunteer Fire Department and was so proud of what it meant to the Soso Community.

He lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger he couldn’t persuade to talk to him, in English or Spanish. His wife, children, grandchildren and precious great grandchildren were his life – along with his “girls” lil Miley & Isabelle, and Big Hank his furry babies. He made an impact on all he came in contact with and will be greatly missed.

He was employed by Sonny Farms, Collins, MS. Pallbearers will be Keghan Livingston, Chandler Craft, Colton Shows, Grayson Livingston, William Yates, and Jerid Lofton. Honorary pallbearers will be Corbyn Yates, Bill Collins, Milfred Valentine, Howell Hathorne, Bill Clark, Billy Hyatt, Robert Sullivan, and Stephen Jefcoat.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Soso. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Thursday, with interment to follow at Union Line Cemetery. Rev.
