Timothy Jay “Tim” Taylor age 55 of Norphlet, AR passed into eternal rest on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his place of employment in Parkers Chapel. Tim was born on October 20, 1963 in Santa Rosa, California to Hazel Bernice Taylor and the late Melvin Taylor. Tim was currently serving as Director of Maintenance at Parkers Chapel Schools.

He loved each and every one of his school family and was proud to call Parkers Chapel School his place of Employment. Before going to Parkers Chapel, he served as the Director of Maintenance at Norphlet Schools. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to his job and his family.

Tim loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, whom were the light of his life. He took being a Papaw very seriously. He had many fiends and will be greatly missed by all.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Taylor; his sister, Lori Thomas; brother, Rodney “Bubbie” Taylor; Step Son, Jeremy Canady; niece, Crissy Bovee and nephew, Frankie Bovee Survivors include; his mother, Hazel Taylor; his wife of 29 years, Penny Taylor; one son, Timothy G. Taylor and wife Kaylee; three daughters, Tabetha Taylor, Melissa Taylor and Elysabeth Celio; eight grandchildren, Timothy D. Taylor, Gunner Taylor, Aubree Taylor, Madison Taylor, Molly Jimenez, Emily Celio, Ayden Celio and Megyn Celio; one brother, Billy Taylor and wife Patricia; one sister, Debbie Griffith and husband Robert; sister in law, Cynthia Taylor; two brothers in law, Jimmy Thomas and Johnny Canady along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am with Bro. Doug Wills officiating.
