Obituary for Timothy Pettinger Timothy Roy Pettinger, 74, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born November 5, 1943 at Lansing, MI, to parents Edward L. and Fern (Huckins) Pettinger. He was a graduate of Marine City High School in Michigan.

Timothy lived a full life. He had worked in Phoenix, AZ, for Palomino Elementary as a custodian before moving to Piedmont, MO. Timothy was a practical joker.

He was always up to clowning around with family and friends. In spare time he loved woodworking especially making toys for children. He enjoyed traveling but in later years couldn’t do as much as he desired.

Timothy was a Christian and a member of the Piedmont Nazarene Church. He is survived by sons: Jim Springer and wife Amy of Piedmont, MO, Floyd Springer of Texas and George Beckenbach of Piedmont, MO; daughters: Cathy Springer and Trina Brown both of Saginaw, MI; brothers, John Pettinger and wife Virginia of Grand Ledge, MI, Bruce Pettinger and wife Sandy of Mason, MI, Ron Pettinger and wife Marsha of Green City, MI and Steve Pettinger and wife Marsha of Eaton Rapids, MI; sister, Hallie Phelps and husband Derin of Farmington, MO; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara Pettinger; brother, George Pettinger; sister, Isabelle Driver.

A life celebration dinner will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 10:00 am, at the Piedmont Rotary Park pavilion. All family and friends are welcome. Online condolences can be made at www.
