Tomy Coggswell of Yoncalla, OR died on April 27, 2018, at the age of 72. He was born on October 31, 1945, in Yoncalla to parents Frances and Alice (Palmer) Coggswell. He graduated from high school, and was in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam for one year.

He married Dianna Templeton on October 4, 1968, in Reno, NV. His lifelong career was as a saw filer, finishing at Hull Oakes Lumber. He enjoyed hunting, trips to the Oregon Coast and mountains, and yard work.

Tomy loved to shop! ! His favorite thing was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He attended the Church of Christ in Yoncalla. Tomy is survived by daughters, Melissa Keenan and Heather Reel, both of Drain; brother, Francis (Red) and Barb of Roseburg; brother, Harold and Joanna of Canyonville; sister, Nancy and Steve Grumbley of Drain; and 4 grandchildren. A Memorial will be held at the Yoncalla Church of Christ on Wednesday, May 2, at 1:00 p.m. Arrangement’s in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, Oregon.
