Virgil Wayne Hale, 82, of Bowling Green entered into rest Monday, April 16, 2018 at his residence. Virgil Wayne was born April 1, 1936 in Lawrence Co., AL and was preceded in death by his parents Willard Hale and Gladys Winchester White, and sister Sharon Perry. Virgil Wayne was a retired lineman from South Central Bell/ATT and member of Woodburn Baptist Church.

He was also a veteran of U. S. Army and National Guard. He loved work and building houses and was a very caring family man, also loved eating fish at the Cracker Barrel. He enjoyed buying and selling cars.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Dorothy Brinley Hale, his children Mark Wayne Hale (Regina), Debbie Schroeter (David), Willard Westley Hale and Nathan Hale (Amber). Sister Wanda Ramey and two brothers Charlie and Jim White. Six wonderful grandchildren Morgan, Marcus, Jennifer, Ryleigh, Leah and Kaitlen.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Thursday, 2:00 pm, April 19, 2018 at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday 11:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.

Burial will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12:00 pm EDT at Hopewell Cemetery in Jeffersontown, KY.
