David was a St. Louis, Missouri native, born on October 15, 1946 the youngest of 7 children born to Helen Elizabeth Adams Curtis. He made Bowling green Ky. His home after moving here with the Corvette Plant in the 1980s with his wife and son.

David entered eternal rest at the Medical Center in Bowling green on Sunday June 17th, 2018 with his grandchildren, Maranda and Christian Curtis at by his side. David was a long-time devoted member of Victory Hills Ministries in Scottsville, Ky. He was retired 34 years from General Motors BG plant and was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp.

He served his country in Vietnam for 2 tours. David was proceeded in death by his loving wife Judy F. Curtis, his mother Helen E. Adams Curtis, and 4 sisters Dorothy Barrett, Joyce Curtis, Phyllis Cosby and Carol Curtis. David is survived by a son, Terry Curtis (Tara) of Florida, 1 sister Patricia Laux and 1 bother Johnny Curtis, both of St. Louis, 2 Grandchildren, Maranda Curtis (Josh), Christian Curtis (Brittany), 4 Great-grandsons Brayden, Bentlee, Blaine and Trey and 1 great-granddaughter Harlan all of Bowling green, several nieces and nephews and a very special family friend Tracy Riggs of Bowling green.

David will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held Saturday morning at 10 AM at Victory Hill Church at 9593 Veterans Memorial HWY. Scottsville, KY. 42164.

Visitation at the church will be 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Saturday. J.C. Kirby and Son, Lovers Lane Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
