Obituary for Virginia Stevens (Harrison) Mrs. Virginia Irene Stevens, age 80, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Monday (July 30, 2018) in Select Specialty at Bristol, Tennessee. Born October 31, 1937 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Georgia Maxfield Harrison. She had spent her early life in the Russell County area, before moving to Pottstown, Pennsylvania, then moving back to the Honaker area ten years ago.
She was a member of Limerick Chapel in Limerick, Pennsylvania, and was recently attending Nash’s Ford Church. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others, but most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kelly Lahloui, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, Henry Curtis Stevens of the home; three children, Lester Stevens and wife, Debbie of Earl Township, Pennsylvania, Wilma Stevens of Honaker, and Connie Maxfield and husband, Wade of Honaker; five grandchildren, Matthew Stevens, Joshua Stevens, Amanda Rhodes, Curtis Ball, and Jacquelyn Ball; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Harrison, Avery Harrison, and Stevie Harrison; canine companions, Hootie and Frankie; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Bro. David Miller and Rev.
Robert Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
